We're looking for an experienced Supply Chain Planner to join a global manufacturing organisation based in Leeds on a temporary basis until March 2027. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong supply chain planning background who enjoys managing supplier performance, improving operational processes, and working collaboratively across a global business.

What You'll Be Doing

Managing a portfolio of global suppliers
Coordinating daily supply chain planning activities
Monitoring supplier performance, identifying risks and resolving potential supply chain issues
Working closely with internal stakeholders
Leading supplier performance reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
Supporting inventory management, demand planning and supply continuity activities.
Analysing supply chain data to identify trends
Driving process improvements using Lean and Six Sigma
Collaborating with cross-functional teams

What We're Looking For

Degree qualified in Supply Chain, Business or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
Previous experience in a Supply Chain Planner, Materials Planner or similar planning role.
Experience managing supplier performance and supplier escalations.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed planning decisions.
Good understanding of inventory management, demand planning and supply chain operations.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience working within a fast-paced manufacturing or engineering environment.

Desirable Skills

Knowledge of Total Cost of Ownership principles.
Experience with inbound materials management and supply continuity.
Understanding of network exception management.
Lean or Six Sigma experience.
Experience using ERP/MRP planning systems.
