How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    About the Role

As a CCTV Rig Manager, you will be responsible for operating and managing our bespoke CCTV survey rig, capturing drainage condition data, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Working closely with supervisors, GPS operatives, project teams, and clients, you will take ownership of survey quality, equipment maintenance, and day-to-day operational performance while maintaining a strong focus on safety and customer service.

Please note this role will require nationwide travel.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Operate and manage CCTV survey equipment and Wincan software.

    * Conduct drainage condition, inventory, and mapping surveys.

    * Ensure quality control and Right First Time delivery on all projects.

    * Manage CCTV rig maintenance and report equipment defects.

    * Support project mobilisation, close-downs, and changeovers.

    * Liaise with clients and maintain strong working relationships.

    * Lead safe working practices and ensure compliance with company and site procedures.

    * Participate in team meetings, training, performance reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.

    * Support day and night shift operations as required.

    What We're Looking For

    Essential

    * Previous highways or drainage surveying experience.

    * OS19X Pipe Sewer Condition Classification qualification.

    * Full clean UK driving licence.

    * Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

    * Computer literacy and experience using survey software.

    * Flexible approach to work, including working away from home when required.

    * Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

    * Strong commitment to health and safety.

    Desirable

    * CSCS Operative Card.

    * Detailed knowledge of CD 535, CS 551 and drainage survey standards.

    * Experience managing CCTV survey rigs and associated equipment.
