How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Strengthen building safety across mobile infrastructure.

    The Senior Design Manager, Regulation, Audit & Governance plays a key role within the Legal, Governance & Operational Excellence directorate, supporting the implementation and continual improvement of building safety, fire safety, and regulatory compliance framework. Working closely with and reporting to the Architect & Senior Manager - Regulation, Audit & Governance, the role ensures that building safety requirements are effectively interpreted, communicated, and embedded across the mobile telecommunications infrastructure portfolio.

    Why this role matters;

    The Building Safety Act 2022 and wider regulatory landscape are transforming how infrastructure is designed, deployed, and managed. This role helps ensure the Company meets its statutory obligations while providing practical guidance that enables safe, compliant, and efficient delivery across the network estate. By combining technical expertise, regulatory understanding, and stakeholder engagement, the role supports both compliance and operational excellence.

    Key responsibilities;

    * Support the interpretation and application of the Building Safety Act 2022, Building Regulations, fire safety legislation, and associated guidance across the infrastructure portfolio

    * Assist in assessing how building safety and regulatory requirements apply to mobile infrastructure projects, particularly rooftop and complex sites

    * Develop and maintain guidance, policies, standards, process maps, and regulatory documentation

    * Ensure documentation is practical, auditable, regulator‑ready, and aligned with industry best practice

    * Coordinate input from stakeholders, suppliers, and subject matter experts to develop effective compliance frameworks

    * Provide technical support on the interaction between mobile infrastructure and host buildings, including structural, fire safety, access, and building services considerations

    * Support design reviews, risk assessments, governance activities, and compliance assurance processes

    * Communicate complex regulatory requirements clearly to internal and external stakeholders

    * Develop and deliver training, workshops, and communications to support adoption of new requirements

    * Support engagement with industry bodies, regulators, and external partners where required

    * Monitor emerging legislation, guidance, and industry developments to drive continuous improvement

    Who we're looking for;

    Knowledge of building regulations and CDM Principal Designer roles and responsibilities.
    Experience interpreting, applying, or managing building compliance with legislation, regulations, standards, or governance requirements
    Experience or capability of authoring technical, regulatory, policy, or governance documentation to a high professional standard. For example, construction project tender quality question responses or specification writing.
    Ability to understand and apply complex legislation, standards, and guidance
    Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and influencing skills
    Ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical business processes and controls
    Strong analytical and problem‑solving capability
    Either existing knowledge of building safety legislation or the capability and commitment to develop expertise quickly
    Experience working in one of the following fields: architecture, infrastructure management, construction, engineering, property, safety, or regulatory environments

    If you also have the following, we'd especially like to hear from you;

    * Experience working within a joint venture or multi‑stakeholder environment

    * Membership of, or working towards membership of, a relevant professional body

    * A qualification in architecture, building safety, fire safety, construction, engineering, building control, surveying, or a related discipline
