This is a largely electrical role within a modern, sustainable building featuring air source heat pumps and solar panels. You’ll join a supportive Facilities Management team with clear progression towards LV/AP and HVAP qualifications.
The Role
As the Maintenance Electrician, you will:
Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across the facility.
Complete PPMs, fault finding, inspections and day-to-day maintenance tasks.
Maintain electrical systems within an all-electric, sustainable building.
Support the supervision and development of junior engineers.
Work with specialist fire and intruder alarm contractors when required.
Participate in a 1-in-4 on-call rota. About You
To be successful as the Maintenance Electrician, you’ll have:
A recognised electrical maintenance qualification.
NVQ Level 2 in Electrical Installation or equivalent experience.
Previous experience in electrical maintenance or Facilities Management.
Strong fault-finding and communication skills.
A proactive approach and willingness to develop technically.
18th Edition qualification is preferred but not essential. What’s in it for You?

£100 weekly standby payment when on call
Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
1-in-4 call-out rota with limited out-of-hours attendance
