How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business where you will play a key role in supporting both pre-construction and live project delivery across a diverse range of infrastructure and construction projects.

    The Role

As a Project Planner, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and monitoring project programmes from tender stage through to project completion. Working closely with operational teams, clients, and stakeholders, you will ensure programmes are robust, achievable, and aligned with contractual requirements.

This role will also involve supporting tender submissions, providing programme analysis, identifying project risks and opportunities, and leading planning activities to help deliver successful project outcomes.

    Key Responsibilities

    *

Develop, maintain, and update tender and contract programmes.

    *

Produce detailed project schedules using industry-standard planning software.

    *

Support bid and tender submissions with high-quality planning documentation.

    *

Monitor project progress and identify programme risks, delays, and mitigation strategies.

    *

Provide programme analysis and reporting to project teams and senior management.

    *

Ensure compliance with NEC3 and NEC4 contract requirements.

    *

Lead and manage planning resources, providing guidance and mentoring where required.

    *

Work collaboratively with project teams and clients to support successful project delivery.

    About You

We're looking for someone who has:

    *

    Proven experience creating tender programmes.

    *

    Demonstrable line management experience.

    *

Strong working knowledge of NEC3 and NEC4 contracts.

    *

Excellent planning, analytical, and organisational skills.

    *

Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

    *

Experience using Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar planning software is desirable.

    Why Join Us?

This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking and growing business with an expanding portfolio of projects and a strong pipeline of future work. You'll have the opportunity to influence both tender success and project delivery while working alongside experienced professionals in a supportive, collaborative environment. As the business continues to grow, so too will the opportunities for career progression and professional development.

If you have the experience, drive, and technical expertise to make an impact, we'd love to hear from you
