How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Procurement Officer, London EC3, Permanent Role, Hybrid Working Included, Up to £45,000 + 10% + Great Benefits, Fantastic Company & Culture

Great Procurement professionals don't just place orders... they create opportunities.

Every great organisation is built on smart decisions.

    The right suppliers.
    The right commercial partnerships.
    The right Procurement strategy.

If you're a Procurement Officer who enjoys taking ownership, building relationships and making a genuine commercial impact, then this could be the career move you've been waiting for.

We're looking for an ambitious Procurement Officer who wants far more than another purchasing job. This is an opportunity to become a trusted Procurement professional, influence business decisions, work closely with senior stakeholders and build a long-term career within a highly respected international organisation.

If you enjoy Procurement, love solving problems and take pride in delivering outstanding commercial outcomes, we'd love to hear from you.

    The Opportunity

As our new Procurement Officer, you'll take ownership of Procurement activities from initial request through to supplier selection, purchasing, contract completion and ongoing supplier management.

Working alongside an experienced Procurement Manager, you'll gain exposure to every stage of the Procurement lifecycle, giving you the perfect platform to develop your Procurement career into Senior Procurement, Category Management or Strategic Procurement in the future.

No two days will ever be the same.

One day you'll be managing software Procurement.

The next you'll be analysing supplier spend, supporting commercial negotiations or helping improve Procurement processes across the organisation.

If you love variety, responsibility and continuous learning, you'll thrive here.

    What You'll Be Doing

As Procurement Officer you'll be responsible for:

Managing Procurement requests from initial enquiry through to purchase order and contract completion

Acting as the first point of contact for Procurement queries across the business

Building excellent relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers

Coordinating approvals to ensure Procurement projects are delivered efficiently

Maintaining accurate Procurement records and documentation

Conducting supplier research and obtaining quotations

Supporting RFQs, supplier comparisons and sourcing exercises

    Building strong supplier partnerships

Maintaining contract records and monitoring renewals

Supporting supplier due diligence, governance and Procurement compliance

Identifying Procurement risks and escalating where appropriate

Supporting IT Procurement including software, SaaS platforms, infrastructure and technology services

Working closely with IT teams to understand business requirements

Tracking software licences, subscriptions and renewal schedules

Producing Procurement reports and analysing supplier spend

Identifying opportunities to reduce costs, improve efficiencies and strengthen Procurement processes

Promoting Procurement best practice across the organisation

    What We're Looking For

You'll already have experience within Procurement, Purchasing or Supply Chain and be ready to take the next exciting step in your career.

    You'll probably have:

2-5 years' Procurement, Purchasing or Commercial experience

Experience managing Procurement activities from beginning to end

Experience supporting supplier sourcing exercises including RFQs and supplier comparisons

Excellent organisation and attention to detail

    Strong Excel and reporting skills

The ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels

A good understanding of Procurement governance and commercial processes

    Experience managing multiple priorities simultaneously

It would also be fantastic if you have:

    Experience within IT Procurement

Knowledge of software, SaaS or technology Procurement

    Experience analysing supplier spend

    Exposure to regulated business environments

CIPS qualification (or currently working towards one)

    Why Join?

This isn't simply another Procurement Officer position.

It's an opportunity to become part of a collaborative international business where Procurement is recognised as a genuine commercial function.

You'll be encouraged to develop new skills, take ownership of meaningful projects and continuously improve the way Procurement supports the wider organisation.

If you're someone who enjoys learning, embraces responsibility and wants your Procurement career to keep moving forward, you'll feel right at home here
