How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Hybrid Mortgage Advisor / Hybrid Mortgage Broker – Hull & East Yorkshire

Up to £30,000 Basic (including Car Allowance) | OTE £65,000+ | Hybrid Working | Employed or Self-Employed

Cameron James Professional Recruitment is delighted to be working in partnership with one of East Yorkshire's leading estate agency and financial services businesses to recruit an experienced Hybrid Mortgage Advisor / Hybrid Mortgage Broker.

This is an outstanding opportunity to join a highly successful organisation that has built an excellent reputation for generating quality mortgage business through an established estate agency network. If you are a fully qualified Mortgage Advisor looking for genuine lead generation, hybrid working, excellent earning potential and long-term career progression, this role offers everything you need to build a successful and rewarding career.

Working across Hull and East Yorkshire, you will become part of a well-established financial services team that is fully integrated into a busy estate agency business. The company has created a strong financial services culture, meaning advisers receive a continuous flow of warm, qualified mortgage opportunities rather than having to spend valuable time generating their own business.

Initially, you will spend approximately three to four days each week working alongside busy estate agency branches, attending morning meetings, building relationships with negotiators and branch managers, and meeting clients face-to-face. The remainder of your week can be spent working remotely, conducting telephone and video appointments while managing your mortgage pipeline. This hybrid approach provides an excellent balance between office collaboration and flexible home working.

The successful Mortgage Advisor will benefit from a consistent pipeline of business, receiving around five to eight qualified mortgage appointments each week, together with remortgage opportunities, existing client referrals and excellent protection prospects. Supported by experienced managers and a dedicated mortgage administration team, you will be able to focus on advising clients and converting opportunities rather than dealing with excessive administration.

As a Hybrid Mortgage Advisor, you will provide whole-of-market mortgage and protection advice to clients purchasing their first home, moving home, remortgaging or investing in property. You will manage each client journey from the initial enquiry through to completion, ensuring exceptional customer service while maintaining FCA-compliant advice standards throughout.

This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with estate agency teams, building long-term professional relationships and maximising every opportunity that comes through the branch network. Strong protection knowledge will be advantageous, as the business places significant emphasis on delivering a complete financial solution for every client, creating additional earning opportunities for successful advisers.

For employed advisers, the package includes a basic salary of up to £30,000, including car allowance, together with an uncapped commission structure, monthly performance bonuses, pension, Death-in-Service benefit, ongoing training and development and full mortgage administration support. The quality of leads, combined with an attractive commission structure, enables advisers to achieve realistic on-target earnings of £65,000 or more, with many advisers exceeding this through strong mortgage and protection performance.

For experienced advisers looking for greater flexibility, a self-employed option is also available. This offers 70% commission on self-generated business and 45% commission on company-generated leads, together with full compliance support, dedicated administration and established introducer relationships. It provides an excellent opportunity for ambitious Mortgage Brokers looking to maximise their earning potential without sacrificing the support and infrastructure of a successful business.

Applicants should hold CeMAP (or equivalent) and Competent Adviser Status (CAS) together with previous experience as a Mortgage Advisor or Mortgage Broker. Estate agency experience would be advantageous but is not essential, and applications are welcomed from advisers with whole-of-market or broker backgrounds. You should possess excellent communication skills, enjoy building client relationships and be motivated by achieving exceptional customer outcomes while maximising your own earnings.

This business has invested heavily in creating an environment where advisers can succeed. Instead of spending your time prospecting for clients, you will benefit from an established introducer network, high-quality mortgage appointments, experienced management support and a dedicated administration team, allowing you to concentrate on writing business and delivering outstanding customer service.

If you are looking for a Mortgage Advisor role that combines quality leads, hybrid working, genuine career progression and realistic earnings of £65,000+, this represents one of the strongest opportunities currently available across Hull and East Yorkshire.
