The Role
You will manage a varied and rewarding caseload within the Assessment & Safeguarding Team, working closely with children, families, and partner agencies to ensure children receive the right support and protection at the right time.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage Child Protection (CP), Child in Need (CIN), and Public Law Outline (PLO) cases.
*
Undertake assessments and develop effective care and support plans.
*
Build positive relationships with children, families, and partner agencies.
*
Produce high-quality reports and maintain accurate case records.
*
Assess risk and make informed decisions to safeguard vulnerable children.
*
Work in line with statutory legislation, safeguarding procedures, and best practice.
What We're Looking For
*
Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration.
*
Proven experience within Children's Assessment and Safeguarding.
*
Strong experience managing CP, CIN, and PLO cases.
*
Excellent assessment, analytical, and report-writing skills.
*
A confident practitioner with a child-centred approach and a passion for achieving positive outcomes.
