How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Senior Panel Beater & Vehicle Sprayer – Top‑Tier Position (10+ Years’ Experience)
    We are looking for a high‑calibre, highly experienced Panel Beater and Vehicle Sprayer to join our workshop. This role is aimed at someone with 10+ years in the trade, exceptional craftsmanship, and the ability to deliver flawless results on every job.
    If you’re a seasoned professional who can take a vehicle from damaged to showroom‑ready with precision, pride, and efficiency, this is a role where your skill is genuinely valued.
    About the Role
    * Advanced panel beating, shaping, straightening, and full bodywork restoration
    * High‑end preparation work including sanding, filler shaping, priming, and masking
    * Expert colour matching, paint mixing, and application using modern spray systems
    * Full resprays, partial resprays, refinishing, and detailing to an exceptional standard
    * Working independently with minimal supervision
    * Maintaining a clean, organised, and professional workspace
    What We’re Looking For
    * Minimum 10 years’ proven experience in panel beating and vehicle spraying
    * Ability to produce premium‑quality finishes with zero comebacks
    * Strong understanding of modern materials, repair techniques, and paint systems
    * High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
    * Reliability, professionalism, and a positive attitude
    Salary & Benefits
    £40,560 – £50,700 per year (Equivalent to £20–£25 per hour, based on a 39‑hour week)
