We are currently recruiting an experienced HGV Technician for a busy and modern commercial vehicle workshop based in Oxford.
This is a permanent night shift position offering excellent earning potential, overtime opportunities and ongoing manufacturer and technical training. If you enjoy working in a quieter workshop environment and want a role with strong long-term prospects, this could be the perfect opportunity.
Key responsibilities
* Service, maintain and repair HGVs
* Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults
* Carry out inspections and safety checks
* Prepare vehicles for MOT and compliance work
* Complete all workshop documentation accurately
What we’re looking for
* Level 3 qualification in HGV / Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (essential)
* Previous commercial vehicle experience
* Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
* Ability to work independently on nights
* Professional and reliable attitude
