How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    About the Company

    Our client is a fast-growing, private equity-backed infrastructure business operating within a high-growth technology environment. With significant investment and an ambitious growth strategy across the UK and Europe, they are building a world-class team to support continued expansion.

    The Role

    An exciting opportunity has arisen for a People Operations Coordinator to take ownership of key HR operational processes across the business. This role will focus on payroll, benefits, HR systems, reporting, compliance and improving People processes as the organisation continues to scale.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Manage employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, contractual changes and offboarding.

    * Maintain accurate employee records, HR documentation and confidential employee data.

    * Support employees and managers with HR process and system queries.

    * Own monthly payroll processes including starters, leavers, salary changes, overtime, absences and variable payments.

    * Liaise with payroll providers to ensure accurate and timely payroll delivery.

    * Support complex payroll requirements including shift workers, overtime and allowances.

    * Administer employee benefits including pensions, private medical insurance and other schemes.

    * Own HR systems, ensuring accurate data, effective workflows and ongoing improvements.

    * Support HRIS enhancements, implementations and system optimisation.

    * Produce HR reports and people analytics covering headcount, absence, turnover and training.

    * Manage LMS processes and monitor mandatory training compliance.

    * Maintain audit-ready HR records and support compliance requirements.

    * Identify opportunities to improve HR processes through automation and technology.

    * Develop and maintain HR procedures and documentation.

    About You

    * Experience within HR Operations, People Operations or HR Administration.

    * Strong experience supporting or managing payroll processes.

    * Experience processing payroll data including overtime, variable pay and employee changes.

    * Experience using HR systems and maintaining accurate employee data.

    * Experience administering benefits, pensions and HR compliance processes.

    * Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.

    * Excellent attention to detail with a structured and organised approach.

    * Comfortable working autonomously and managing multiple priorities.

    * Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

    * Commercially aware with an interest in improving systems and processes.

    Desirable Experience

    * Experience using HiBob or similar HRIS platforms.

    * Experience supporting shift-based or operational workforces.

    * Experience within technology, infrastructure, engineering or a scaling business.

    * Experience supporting HR system implementations or process improvement projects
