On behalf of our client based in Beoley, Redditch (B98) we are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join their dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks within a chilled warehouse environment, including materials handling, stocking, and ensuring the smooth operation of shipping and receiving processes.
Responsibilities
* Handle materials with care during loading, unloading, picking, packing, and shipping processes.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse space to ensure a safe working environment.
* Perform heavy lifting as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.
* Assist in stocking shelves and organising products for easy access.
* Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and deadlines.
* Participate in training sessions related to warehouse operations, safety protocols, and equipment usage.
* Handle various food items such as fruits, vegetables, chicken, lamb and pork.
Qualifications
* Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
* Familiarity with materials handling techniques and safety practices in a warehouse setting.
* Experience with picking & packing processes is advantageous.
* Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures is beneficial.
* Ability to operate forklifts; certification is a plus but can be obtained through training.
* Strong physical fitness to manage heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or walking.

THE ENVIRONMENT IS CHILLED WHILST THE LOCATION IS REMOTE SO YOU WILL NEED TO BE ABLE TO TRAVEL INDEPENDENTLY.
