Senior Building Surveyor

Conrad Consulting is delighted to be partnering with a well-established, multi-disciplinary property and construction consultancy in their search for a Senior Building Surveyor to join their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Building Surveyor looking to take on a varied workload with a strong emphasis on professional Building Surveying services. You'll be working with an established portfolio of Commercial and Industrial clients, delivering high-quality advice and building long-term relationships across a diverse range of properties.

The Role

As a Senior Building Surveyor, you'll play a key role in delivering professional Building Surveying instructions while supporting the continued growth of the team. You'll manage projects independently, mentor junior colleagues where appropriate, and provide trusted advice to a broad client base.

Your responsibilities will include:

Dilapidations (landlord and tenant)

Technical due diligence and acquisition surveys

Schedules of condition

Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programmes

Defect diagnosis and building pathology

Contract administration on refurbishment and maintenance schemes

Party Wall matters (desirable)

Providing professional advice to Commercial and Industrial sector clients

Building and maintaining strong client relationships while identifying opportunities for repeat business

About You

We're looking for a confident and commercially minded Building Surveyor who enjoys delivering professional consultancy services and thrives in a client-facing environment.

You'll ideally have:

Degree qualified in Building Surveying or a related discipline

MRICS qualified (or working towards chartership with relevant experience)

Proven experience delivering professional Building Surveying services

Strong knowledge of Commercial and Industrial properties

Excellent report writing and communication skills

The ability to manage your own workload and build lasting client relationships

A full UK driving licence
