We're looking for a motivated Warehouse Operative to join a busy Groundcare team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands-on role and takes pride in keeping warehouse operations running efficiently.
The Role
Receive, inspect, and process incoming deliveries from suppliers.
Unpack, check, and accurately book in machinery, parts, and equipment.
Safely load and unload delivery vehicles.
Move stock between the warehouse, showroom, and goods-in areas.
Pick, pack, and prepare stock for dispatch to branches and customers.
Carry out regular stock checks and support inventory control.
Maintain accurate stock records using warehouse systems.
Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety standards.
Work closely with colleagues, suppliers, and other departments to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.Essential:
Full UK driving licence.
Forklift Truck Licence.
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office, email, and internet use.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Physically fit and able to safely lift items up to 25kg.
A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Desirable:
Previous experience in a warehouse, stores, stock control, or goods-in role.
Experience handling machinery, agricultural, horticultural, or groundcare equipment.What's on Offer
