How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Power BI and SQL Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimising our organisation's data visualisations and reports using Power BI and SQL.

    This role requires a deep understanding of data analysis, data modelling, and the ability to transform complex data into meaningful insights to support informed business decisions. The

    What you’ll be doing as a People Analytics Specialist

    Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data needs and reporting requirements.
    Analyse and document data sources, data structure, and data quality considerations.
    Create and maintain interactive and visually appealing dashboards, reports, and data visualisations using Power BI, DAX, and SQL.
    Develop data models, measures, and calculations to provide actionable insights.
    Implement dynamic filters, slicers, and drill-down capabilities for enhanced user experience.
    Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across all reports and dashboards.
    Conduct thorough testing to validate data accuracy and performance.
    Document data models, report specifications, and development processes.
    Communicate insights and findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
    Identify and implement strategies to improve Power BI report performance and responsiveness.
    Optimise SQL queries and database indexes to enhance overall system performance.What you should bring to the role

    Significant work experience in Power BI and SQL.
    Experience with Power BI RLS.
    Experience in HR data is essential.
    Strong proficiency in SQL database design principles.
    Experience in data visualisation, data analysis, and data modelling.
    Proficiency in Power BI for creating interactive dashboards and reports.
    Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
    Experience with Power Automate is a plus.
