How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Project Engineer (HV Testing / Terminating)

    £70,000 - £80,000 + Company Bonus + Training + Progression + Remote Working + Flexible Hours

    Are you a Project Engineer with hands-on high-voltage testing and terminating experience at 66kV or above, looking to join an industry-leading, internationally recognised company?

    Are you looking for a position offering challenging and varied projects, where you can be seen as the go-to expert in your industry with clear routes of progression to Operation Manager?

    In this role you will head communication between internal and external teams whilst overseeing projects from initial tendering to completion. You will ensure projects adhere to strict timelines, deadlines, and budgets whilst coordinating personnel and equipment. Duties also include visits to on and offshore sites, conducting hands-on HV T&T.

    Founded nearly 30 years ago, this internationally recognised company is an industry leading service provider within their sector, with a reputation for delivering high-quality solutions and clientele services, with aims of continuous growth and acquiring larger scale projects.

    This role would suit a Project Engineer, with hands-on HV T&T experience, from an electric, renewables, or oil and gas background, looking to join an internationally recognised market leader within their industry.

    The Role:

    Overseeing project from initial tendering to completion
    Ensuring projects are within budget, on time, and high quality
    Hands-on high-voltage test and termination of cables and HV equipment
    Liaising with internal teams and external customers
