How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Sales Executive – Key Foodservice Accounts

North London (Hybrid – office collaboration, remote working, & customer visits)

    £30k - £40K (DOE) + KPI Personal Performance Commission

    About the Role

Are you early in your B2B sales career and ready to step up into key account management within the booming international food sector?

We are representing a leading importer and distributor of authentic Asian Foods, supplying many of the UK’s best-known restaurants, retailers, and wholesalers.

As a Sales Executive, you will take ownership of a healthy inherited portfolio of key foodservice customer accounts—focusing significantly on chain restaurants. This role is a dynamic mix of warm account management and commercial business development. You will guide food projects from initial concept and menu development through to product launch, building long-term commercial relationships with head office decision-makers while driving profitable growth.

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Account Management & Customer Development

    * Day-to-day management and nurture of an established base of key foodservice and chain restaurant accounts.

    * Conduct face-to-face meetings, business reviews, and menu pitches at client Head Offices to expand product listings and profitability.

    * Support annual pricing reviews, commercial agreements, and customer proposals.

    2. Commercial & Project Coordination

    * Coordinate commercial projects end-to-end—working cross-functionally with Internal Purchasing, Marketing, Technical, NPD, and Supply Chain/Logistics teams.

    * Deliver against agreed sales, margin, and volume targets; analyse trends, prepare forecasts, and ensure stock availability for major promotions.

    3. Representation & Service Excellence

    * Attend trade exhibitions, customer tastings, and industry food events across the UK.

    * Deliver exceptional customer service, managing commercial administration and listing setups accurately.

    Your Skills & Experience

    * Prior experience in B2B sales, account management, or a customer-facing commercial role

    * Strong communication, project management, and numeric skills (proficient in Excel).

    * Full UK driving licence with willingness to travel to customer Head Offices and events.

    * Background or passion for the food industry, (passion for Asian food ideally)

    * Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP)
    Salary description
