Salary: £15 - £16 per hour
Hours 8.00am - 4.30pm - 5days + additional
Location: Heysham
Job Type: Full-TimeWe are seeking a self-motivated Groundworker experienced in various groundwork tasks to join our team in Heysham. This role is ideal for someone who is proficient in kerb laying, block laying, drainage works, and concrete laying and finishing. Experience with construction machinery and tools such as wacker, roller, dumper, stile saw, and basic hand tools is highly desirable. Operating a mini excavator is an advantage.

Day-to-day of the role:

Perform a variety of groundwork tasks including kerb laying, block laying, drainage works, and concrete laying and finishing.
Operate construction machinery and tools such as wacker, roller, dumper, stile saw, and basic hand tools.
Work effectively as part of a construction gang to complete projects efficiently.
Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations at all times on the construction site.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure tasks are completed to the required standards.Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience in groundwork tasks such as kerb laying, block laying, drainage works, and concrete laying and finishing.
Ability to operate construction machinery and tools such as wacker, roller, dumper, stile saw, and basic hand tools. Experience with a mini excavator is an advantage.
Must possess a valid CSCS card.
Strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team.
Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.Benefits:
