We're recruiting on behalf of our client in Kirriemuir for Sewing Machine Operators to join their growing production team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates with industrial sewing experience, although those with a background in tailoring, dressmaking or textile production are also encouraged to apply.

The Role
Following training, you will operate industrial sewing machinery to produce high-quality technical textile products, ensuring all work meets strict quality and production standards.
Key responsibilities include:
Operating industrial sewing machines safely and efficiently
Producing products to exact quality specifications
Monitoring productivity and meeting production deadlines
Carrying out routine quality checks and completing documentation
Adhering to all Health & Safety procedures
Reporting defects, faults or operational issues promptly
Maintaining a clean and organised work area
Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve daily targets
Supporting additional production activities as required
What We're Looking For
Essential:
Previous sewing machine operation experience or machine operating experience
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication skills and a positive attitude
Reliable transport to accommodate shift patterns
Good level of physical fitness for a production environmentPreferred:
Industrial sewing machine experience
Tailoring or dressmaking experience
Manufacturing or technical textiles experienceHours of Work
