How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    -         Monitor compliance with company procedures and UK health & safety legislation.

    -         Support site management teams with risk assessments, method statements, and safe systems of work.

    -         Investigate incidents, near misses, and accidents, producing reports and recommendations.

    -         Deliver toolbox talks and assist with health & safety training initiatives.

    -         Maintain accurate health & safety records and documentation.

    -         Work collaboratively with project teams to identify and mitigate risks.

    -         Promote a proactive and positive safety culture throughout the business.

    Requirements

    -         1-3 years' experience in a Health & Safety role within construction, M&E, building services, or related sectors.

    -         NEBOSH Certificate (or working towards).

    -         Good knowledge of current health & safety legislation and industry best practices.

    -         Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

    -         Ability to build relationships with site and management teams.

    -         Full UK driving licence preferred.

    -         Ambitious, proactive, and keen to progress within a growing organisation.

    What's On Offer?

    -         Salary up to £50,000 depending on experience.

    -         Clear progression pathway into Senior Health & Safety roles.

    -         Opportunity to work on prestigious London projects.

    -         Ongoing training and professional development.

    -         Supportive and collaborative working environment.

    -         Excellent long-term career prospects within a thriving M&E contractor.
