How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Join Our Team

At Beagle Aircraft, we're a leading aerospace manufacturer, producing precision-engineered components for some of the world's leading aerospace programmes.

We're investing in the future of our manufacturing operations through the implementation of MRP within our ERP platform, and we're looking for an experienced Data Analyst / SQL Developer (ERP) to play a key role in this business-critical project.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative project team where you'll use your SQL expertise to support a major ERP implementation. Due to the nature of this contract, we're looking for someone who can hit the ground running and make an immediate impact.

Experience with SYSPRO ERP would be highly advantageous, although candidates with experience of other manufacturing ERP systems are encouraged to apply.

    The Role

Reporting to the Project Lead, you'll take ownership of the SQL and database workstream, supporting the implementation of MRP within our ERP system.

Working closely with Planning, Procurement, Engineering and Operations, you'll develop SQL solutions, manage data migration and reconciliation, support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure manufacturing data is accurate, reliable and ready for go-live.

This is a hands-on technical role requiring someone who can work independently while collaborating with project stakeholders to deliver a successful ERP implementation.

    What We Offer

    * Competitive salary

    * 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays (pro rata)

    * Company pension, healthcare benefits and Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)

    * Holiday Purchase Scheme, Birthday Leave and Long Service Awards

    * Free onsite parking and career development opportunities

    * Opportunity to contribute to a major ERP transformation project

    Key Responsibilities

    * Build, maintain and support SQL databases while developing SQL scripts for database administration, system updates and data migration.

    * Manage data cleansing, validation, reconciliation and master data activities to ensure ERP data integrity.

    * Support ERP testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and MRP validation throughout the implementation.

    * Investigate and resolve SQL, database and data integrity issues.

    * Manage manufacturing ERP data including Bills of Materials (BOMs), routings, inventory and production information.

    * Perform SQL Server backup, restore and database administration while maintaining technical documentation and change records.

    * Work closely with Planning, Procurement, Engineering and Operations to deliver a successful ERP implementation.

    About You

We're looking for an experienced SQL Developer with a strong background supporting manufacturing ERP systems and delivering successful data-driven projects.

    Essential

    * Strong commercial experience with Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL development and SQL database administration.

    * Experience developing SQL solutions within an ERP environment, ideally supporting ERP implementations, MRP projects or major business system upgrades.

    * Strong understanding of manufacturing ERP data, including BOMs, routings, inventory, production orders, data migration, validation and reconciliation.

    * Experience investigating SQL, database and data integrity issues, combined with excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

    * Experience working within a manufacturing, engineering or aerospace environment.

    Desirable

    * Experience with SYSPRO ERP or another manufacturing ERP platform.

    * Experience supporting MRP implementations and using Power BI or similar reporting tools.

    Why Join Beagle Aircraft?

This is more than just a fixed-term contract—it's an opportunity to play a key role in delivering a business-critical ERP transformation that will shape the future of our manufacturing operations.

You'll work alongside experienced professionals, contribute to a high-profile project and help deliver a successful MRP implementation within a leading aerospace manufacturing business.

If you're an experienced SQL Developer, ERP Data Analyst or ERP SQL Specialist with a manufacturing background, we'd love to hear from you
