How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Senior Product Manager – Strategy & Customer

    Bristol | Hybrid | £(phone number removed) + Benefits

    The Opportunity

We're partnering with an innovative, investor-backed technology business that's entering an exciting phase of commercial growth. Having successfully developed a market-leading product, they're now looking for a Senior Product Manager to establish and lead the Product Management function as they scale.

This is a rare opportunity to define product strategy from the ground up, becoming the voice of both the customer and the wider regulatory landscape. You'll ensure future product development is driven by genuine market demand, evolving industry standards and commercial opportunity, working closely with engineering, R&D, operations and commercial teams to shape the long-term product vision.

    The Culture

This isn't a corporate environment with layers of process and bureaucracy. It's a growing, investor-backed technology business where things move quickly, priorities evolve and everyone plays a part in shaping the future.

They're looking for someone who's proactive, commercially minded and excited by the opportunity to help build something. You'll thrive if you enjoy collaborating with technical teams, challenging thinking and influencing decisions across the business.

If you're excited by the opportunity to build a function, influence product direction and play a key role in a high-growth technology business, you'll fit in well here.

    The Role

    You'll be responsible for:

    * Defining the product vision, strategy and long-term roadmap.

    * Acting as the voice of the customer, while ensuring evolving regulatory and industry requirements remain central to product strategy and future development.

    * Building strong relationships with customers, industry bodies and key stakeholders to understand emerging market needs and regulatory expectations.

    * Establishing structured customer feedback processes and customer advisory groups to shape future product development.

    * Prioritising product investment based on customer value, commercial opportunity, regulatory requirements and technical feasibility.

    * Working closely with engineering, R&D and commercial teams to align product strategy.

    * Supporting product positioning, go-to-market planning and commercial launches.

    * Monitoring product performance, customer adoption, regulatory developments and market trends.

    * Using data, customer insight and industry direction to continually refine the product strategy.

    * Building and leading a modern Product Management function as the business grows.

    About You

You'll be passionate about building products that solve real customer problems and enjoy working at the intersection of technology, engineering and commercial strategy.

You'll understand that successful product strategy isn't shaped solely by customers, but also by the regulatory landscape, industry standards and the evolving requirements that influence how technology is adopted.

    You'll ideally have:

    * Proven Product Management experience within a technology, engineering or manufacturing environment.

    * Experience developing product strategy and owning product roadmaps.

    * Strong customer discovery, market analysis and commercial product management experience.

    * Experience working within regulated industries or markets where compliance, standards and regulatory requirements influence product development.

    * An appreciation that regulatory bodies, standards organisations and compliance requirements are key stakeholders in shaping successful products.

    * The ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive strategic decisions.

    * Experience working closely alongside engineering and technical development teams.

    * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

    * A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to thrive in a scaling business.

    Desirable

    * Previous experience within industrial technology, advanced manufacturing, instrumentation, hardware, sensors or other technically advanced environments.

    * Experience launching complex B2B technology products.

    * Exposure to utilities, industrial, environmental, energy or other regulated markets.

    Why Apply?

This is an opportunity to build a Product Management function from the ground up and become one of the key leaders shaping the future of an innovative technology business. You'll influence not only what products are developed, but how they evolve to meet customer expectations, regulatory requirements and the demands of an ever-changing market.

If you're looking for genuine ownership, strategic influence and the chance to help scale an exciting technology business, we'd love to hear from you
