How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Product Owner – Product Delivery

    Bristol | Hybrid | £55-65,000 + Benefits

    The Opportunity

We're partnering with an innovative, investor-backed technology business that's entering an exciting phase of commercial growth. As product demand increases, they're looking for a Product Owner to work closely with engineering teams, ensuring product strategy is translated into clear priorities and successfully delivered.

Initially, you'll play a key role in delivering a major Innovate UK-funded product development programme, helping coordinate engineering activities, manage the product backlog and ensure delivery remains aligned with customer and commercial priorities. As the business continues to scale, you'll become a key member of the Product function, supporting future product releases and ongoing product development.

    The Culture

This is a business where innovation happens quickly. Decisions are made at pace, priorities evolve and everyone contributes to building something special.

They're looking for someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, thrives in collaborative engineering environments and is excited by the opportunity to influence how a high-growth technology business scales.

If you enjoy working alongside talented engineers, taking ownership and helping turn innovative ideas into successful products, you'll fit in well here.

    The Role

    You'll be responsible for:

    * Owning and managing the product backlog.

    * Translating product strategy into clear user stories and engineering priorities.

    * Working closely with software, hardware and R&D teams to support product delivery.

    * Supporting delivery of a major Innovate UK-funded product development programme.

    * Prioritising engineering work alongside the Senior Product Manager and technical leadership.

    * Coordinating product releases and development milestones.

    * Ensuring customer requirements remain central throughout the development lifecycle.

    * Supporting validation, testing and product readiness activities.

    * Managing dependencies and working collaboratively to remove delivery blockers.

    * Helping establish scalable Product Ownership and Agile delivery processes as the business grows.

    About You

You'll enjoy working closely with engineering teams and be passionate about turning ideas into successful products.

    You'll ideally have:

    * Previous experience as a Product Owner or Technical Product Manager within a technology or engineering environment.

    * Experience managing product backlogs, user stories and product priorities.

    * Strong understanding of Agile product development methodologies.

    * Experience working closely with software and multidisciplinary engineering teams.

    * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

    * Strong organisational skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities.

    * A proactive, delivery-focused mindset with a genuine passion for technology.

    Desirable

    * Previous experience delivering complex engineering or technology products, particularly within hardware, electronics, instrumentation, manufacturing, deep-tech or other technically advanced environments.

    * Experience supporting innovation, R&D or publicly funded technology programmes.

    * Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps or similar Agile delivery tools.

    * Exposure to hardware/software integration and complex technical systems.

    Why Apply?

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business at a defining point in its journey. You'll work alongside exceptional engineers and technical specialists, helping transform innovative ideas into commercially successful products while playing a key role in delivering technology that has genuine global impact.
