Responsibilities of Project Manager:
* Produce financial forecasts, monitor and control project costs, and deliver monthly performance reports
* Deliver projects from design phase through to completion, including all handover documentation
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, framework suppliers, and design consultants
* Develop and maintain construction programmes, coordinating site investigations throughout
* Ensure production of Project Plans, risk assessments, method statements, and procurement processes
* Maintain commercial tension, prepare estimates for additional works, and support new tender submissions
* Set the highest standards of HS&E leadership, ensuring compliance with procedures, legal obligations, and subcontractor compliance
* Liaise with third parties to ensure compliance with HSG47, HAUC, NRSWA, Chapter 8, and other regulatory standards
* Manage and produce ITPs, maintain the QA File, and ensure as-builts and O&M manuals are submitted on completion
Essential Requirements for Project Manager:
* Degree or HNC in Civil Engineering or equivalent
* CSCS Manager's Card, SMSTS, TWC, Appointed Person, and NEBOSH Construction Certificate
* Good working knowledge of CDM regulations, Design Management, Programme & Risk Management, and cost control
* Knowledge of NEC contract including Early Warning and Compensation Event mechanisms
* Proficiency in Primavera P6 or equivalent
* Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills
* Proven experience delivering water and utilities projects, specifically shaft sinking and deep drainage
Desirable:
* CEng MICE
* Knowledge of JCT form of contract
Salary description
£65000.00 - £75000.00 per year
