A Production Supervisor opportunity has arisen within a well-established manufacturing business operating within the engineering and industrial sectors. Reporting to the Production Manager, you'll lead daily manufacturing operations, ensuring production targets, quality standards and health & safety requirements are consistently achieved while driving continuous improvement across the shop floor.
Production Supervisor responsibilities include -
Leading, motivating and developing Production Operatives across multiple manufacturing processes.
Coordinating daily production activities to achieve safety, quality and delivery targets.
Monitoring production performance, identifying issues and implementing corrective actions.
Driving Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement and 5S initiatives across the shop floor.
Ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 quality standards and maintaining a right-first-time culture.
Supporting training, coaching and performance development while promoting a safe working environment.Production Supervisor desirable skills and experience -
Previous supervisory, Team Leader or Senior Production experience within a manufacturing environment.
Experience leading production teams to achieve quality, safety and delivery targets.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement and 5S principles.
Experience working within an ISO 9001 manufacturing environment.
A proactive, hands-on leadership style with strong communication and problem-solving skills.Production Supervisor benefits include -
