How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Do you, want to help Deliver the UK's Largest Industrial Developments?

    Are you an experienced Blockwork Supervisor looking to work on some of the UK's most prestigious industrial construction projects?

    We are working with a leading Tier 1 Main Contractor delivering major industrial developments across the UK. From advanced manufacturing facilities and data centres to energy, pharmaceutical and process engineering projects, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality masonry packages on nationally significant schemes.

    This is an excellent opportunity to join a contractor with a strong pipeline of work, an outstanding reputation for safety and quality, and genuine opportunities for long-term career progression.

    Key Responsibilities:

    * Supervise all blockwork and masonry activities across major industrial construction projects.

    * Coordinate subcontractors, direct labour and material deliveries to meet programme requirements.

    * Ensure all works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications and quality standards.

    * Monitor workmanship and carry out regular quality inspections.

    * Lead daily briefings, toolbox talks and safety meetings.

    * Maintain high standards of health, safety and environmental compliance.

    * Work closely with engineering and project teams to resolve technical and construction issues.

    * Monitor progress and provide regular updates to Site and Project Management.

    * Ensure works are completed in line with project programmes and client expectations.

    * Maintain accurate site records, inspections and quality documentation.

    Package:

    * Basic Salary upto £80,000
