As the ICT Teacher, you will deliver exciting, hands-on lessons that develop coding, digital literacy, computational thinking, online safety and creative problem-solving. You will encourage pupils to experiment, collaborate and think independently while making technology accessible, enjoyable and relevant to every learner.
Working alongside colleagues across the school, you will play a key role in embedding technology throughout the wider curriculum, supporting innovative teaching and learning beyond the computing classroom. This role would suit an enthusiastic educator who enjoys bringing fresh ideas into lessons and believes technology should inspire confidence, imagination and resilience. The successful ICT Teacher will have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (essential)
Experience teaching within a UK school (essential)
Strong knowledge of Computing and digital technologies
Secondary ICT teachers looking to transition into primary education are encouraged to apply
Experience teaching within a primary school would be advantageous
The ability to deliver engaging lessons across EYFS to Year 6
Excellent classroom management and strong communication skills
A passion for inspiring young learners through innovative use of technology
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
Availability to commit to this full-time, permanent position from September 2026
