How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Your new company
    We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Software Developer to join a growing development team. This is an exciting opportunity to work across a diverse technology landscape, supporting and enhancing business-critical applications while helping to deliver innovative, cloud-based solutions.You'll play a key role in developing, maintaining and improving a portfolio of applications and services used by both internal stakeholders and external clients. Working with modern Microsoft technologies, you'll contribute to projects spanning Azure cloud platforms, on-premise systems, APIs, integrations and AI-assisted development tools.This role offers the chance to collaborate with Product Managers, DevOps Engineers, QA Specialists and Business Stakeholders in an environment focused on continuous improvement, innovation and high engineering standards.

    Your new role
    Design, develop, test and support software solutions using C# and .NET
    Build and enhance applications across Microsoft Azure and on-premise environments
    Develop and maintain APIs, integrations and supporting services
    Troubleshoot and resolve application defects and production issues
    Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, maintainable and highly available
    Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices
    Produce technical documentation, testing artefacts and deployment procedures
    Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software
    Monitor and improve system performance, resilience and reliability
    Utilise AI-assisted development tools to enhance coding, testing, debugging and documentation activities
    Review and validate AI-generated outputs to ensure quality, security and compliance standards are met

    What you'll need to succeed
    Commercial experience developing applications using C# and .NET
    Experience maintaining and enhancing business-critical applications
    Strong understanding of software engineering principles, object-oriented design and testing practices
    Experience with SQL and relational databases
    Knowledge of API development and integration patterns
    Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and a desire to further develop cloud expertise
    Experience with Git, Azure DevOps or similar source control tools
    Exposure to AI-assisted development tools
    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
    Ability to manage priorities and deliver high-quality solutions

    Desirable SkillsExperience developing solutions in Microsoft Azure
    Knowledge of Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL and Service Bus
    Experience modernising legacy or on-premise applications
    Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
    Experience with Docker and containerisation technologies
    Knowledge of secure coding practices
    Experience working within Agile delivery teams
    Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline
