How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Join a Market-Leading Commercial Events Business

Are you an ambitious B2B sales professional looking for a role where your earning potential is truly uncapped

We're looking for a confident and commercially driven Sales Executive to join a successful and well-established events business behind one of Europe's leading commercial exhibitions.

If you enjoy consultative selling, speaking with senior decision-makers, and working in a structured, target-driven environment, we'd love to hear from you.

    The Role

As a Sales Executive, you'll take ownership of an established sales territory, developing existing client relationships while identifying and converting new business opportunities.

You'll be selling a range of commercial products, including:

    Exhibition space
    Sponsorship opportunities
    Media and advertising solutions

This is primarily an office-based, telephone-led sales role, supported by email, LinkedIn and virtual meetings. You'll also have the opportunity to attend company events throughout the year, with occasional attendance at industry events.

    What You'll Be Doing

Managing and developing your own portfolio of accounts
Proactively generating new business through outbound sales activity
Building strong relationships with existing clients
Identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell
    Preparing proposals and quotations
Managing your sales pipeline using CRM systems
Delivering excellent customer service throughout the sales process
Working towards individual revenue targets and agreed KPIs

This isn't a high-volume telesales role. Success comes from having meaningful commercial conversations and building long-term customer relationships.

    What We're Looking For

We're keen to speak with experienced sales professionals who have:

    Proven success in B2B sales
Experience generating business through outbound sales activity
    Confidence speaking with senior-level decision-makers
    Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
The ability to manage a structured sales pipeline and work towards revenue targets
    Excellent communication and organisational skills

    What's On Offer

    In return, you'll receive:

Competitive basic salary of £30,000–£32,500 (depending on experience)
Uncapped commission with realistic OTE of £60,000+
6.6 weeks' annual leave, including Christmas shutdown
Option to purchase additional annual leave
Monthly sales incentives and recognition awards
    Pension scheme
    Cycle to Work scheme
    Eyecare plan
Death in service cover (3x salary)
Mental, physical and financial wellbeing support
    Employee discount schemes
A friendly, supportive team environment with regular social activities and dress-down Fridays
