How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Injection Moulding Tool Maintenance Engineer

    Location: Yaxley, Peterborough
    Shift: Monday to Thursday, 18:00 – 06:00
    Salary: £45k + £50 weekly attendance allowance

    Are you an experienced Injection Mould Setter looking for a stable night shift role with a long weekend every week? We are currently recruiting for a skilled and motivated Injection Mould Setter to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Yaxley, Peterborough.

    This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive team where you'll play a key role in ensuring production runs efficiently, maintaining quality standards, and minimising downtime.

    An established UK manufacturing business is seeking an experienced Injection Mould Tool Maintenance Engineer to support its plastic manufacturing operations. This is a hands-on role focused on maintaining and improving injection mould tools to ensure safe operation, consistent product quality, and high production uptime.

    Key Responsibilities

    Perform planned maintenance on injection mould tools.
    Prepare and ensure mould tools are in optimal condition for production.
    Liaise with the processing team to identify and resolve tooling issues.
    Investigate faults, determine root causes, and communicate findings effectively.
    Maintain spare parts and equipment to minimise downtime and reduce repair times.

    Skills & Experience

    Completed a recognised toolmaker apprenticeship (or equivalent) with experience in injection mould tooling.
    Experience in manual machining, including milling, turning (lathes), and surface grinding.
    Strong bench fitting skills.
    Experience supporting production tooling, including breakdown response and TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) activities.
