How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

The Recruitment Group is recruiting for a 3D Print Operator. No previous experience is required – you'll receive full product training. What we're really looking for is someone who is eager to learn, organised, proactive and excited by technology.

Whether you've recently graduated, enjoy building PCs, have experimented with 3D printing, or you're simply the type of person who's naturally curious and enjoys learning new technology, this 3D Print Operator role could be the perfect opportunity for you.

This isn't just another production role. You'll be working with cutting-edge 3D printing technology, learning specialist software, and there are genuine opportunities to progress into a 3D Design career.

Pay rate for 3D Print Operator:

    £12.71 to £12.85 + Overtime Rates

    Hours for 3D Print Operator:

    40 hours Monday to Friday

     Location:

    Loughborough

    The Role:

As a 3D Print Operator, you'll become responsible for planning, preparing and monitoring print jobs using industrial 3D printers.

Every day is different. Some jobs take minutes, while others can run for several hours or even overnight, so planning your workload is a key part of the role.

    You'll learn how to:

    Operate industrial 3D printing equipment.
Modify and prepare 3D print drawings using specialist software.
Plan production schedules to maximise machine efficiency.
Schedule longer print runs overnight and shorter jobs during the day.
Monitor print quality and troubleshoot any issues.
    Inspect finished components.
Keep production records up to date.
Work with the wider team to meet production deadlines
    The Person:

We're looking for someone who is:

Computer literate and confident using technology.
Genuinely interested in learning new skills.
Organised and able to plan their workload effectively.
Proactive and able to work independently.
A logical thinker who enjoys solving problems.
Detail-focused with a high level of accuracy.
    Reliable with a positive attitude.
A university graduate, particularly in Engineering, Design, Product Design, Computing or a similar subject, would be advantageous, but it's certainly not essential.

This role could be perfect if you enjoy...
