Finance Assistant

RM Recruit are proud to be working with a dynamic third sector-based organisation based in Erdington who are actively seeking a confident Finance Assistant on a full-time, temporary basis for 2-3 months. This role is based onsite Monday – Friday and the ideal candidate will be immediately available or available on short notice.

Key Responsibilities:

* Processing purchase and sales invoices accurately

* Reconciling supplier statements and bank accounts

* Assisting with payment runs

* Conduct bank reconciliations

* Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks

* Supporting month-end finance processes

* Maintaining accurate financial records and data entry

* Responding to finance-related queries from internal and external stakeholders

* Providing general administrative support to the finance team

Person Specification:

* Previous experience in a Finance Assistant, Accounts Assistant or similar finance role

* Strong numerical and analytical skills

* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

* Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and finance systems

* Strong organisational and communication skills

* The ability to manage workloads effectively and meet deadlines

* A proactive and reliable approach to work
