Cosmetic Supervisor – Bodyshop Paint
Location: Bedford
Salary: £36,166 + bonus, overtime & benefits
Hours: 40 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday (07:30–16:00 / 09:30–17:00)
A major automotive operation is looking for a hands-on Cosmetic Supervisor / Paint Team Leader to take ownership of a busy, fast paced bodyshop environment.
This is not a desk job- you’ll be on the workshop floor, leading from the front, supporting technicians, solving problems in real time and making sure every vehicle leaves the paint shop to the highest possible standard.

What you’ll be doing
* Leading and motivating a team of paint technicians in a high-throughput environment
* Planning and coordinating daily workloads to keep vehicles moving efficiently
* Providing hands-on technical support and coaching when needed
* Maintaining exceptional standards of paint quality and finish
* Driving health & safety, housekeeping and workshop discipline
* Managing team briefings, holidays, attendance and day-to-day performance
* Reacting quickly to issues to minimise downtime and protect productivity
What we’re looking for
* 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Paint Technician
* 3+ years’ experience in a supervisory, team leader or workshop leadership role
* A proactive, solutions-focused approach
* Strong organisation and communication skills
* Experience with Outlook and Excel
* A full UK driving licence
