How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Develop and maintain strong customer relationships built on trust and reliability. Procurement & Materials Coordination
Review bills of materials and determine raw material and packaging requirements.
Monitor inventory levels and identify potential stock shortages.
Source supplier pricing, lead times, pack sizes and minimum order quantities.
Create and manage purchase orders through internal approval processes.
Track supplier confirmations and delivery schedules.
Coordinate customer-supplied materials and packaging requirements.
Support supplier performance reviews and identify cost-saving opportunities. Production Planning
Convert customer demand forecasts into achievable production requirements.
Maintain production plans for assigned customer accounts and manufacturing areas.
Work closely with Production teams to develop realistic schedules.
Ensure material and packaging readiness prior to works order release.
Participate in production planning meetings and monitor plan adherence.
Respond effectively to changing priorities and operational challenges.
Assess and manage the impact of supply delays, labour constraints and equipment downtime.
Communicate revised production schedules and customer commitments where necessary.
Support the achievement of customer service and production performance targets. Reporting & Continuous Improvement
Maintain accurate purchasing, planning and order management records.
Monitor customer service and supply chain performance metrics.
Escalate material shortages, overdue orders and operational risks in a timely manner.
Investigate recurring issues and contribute to corrective actions.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce cost and enhance customer service.
Support ongoing development of planning tools, reporting systems and operational processes.
Ensure accurate order information is communicated to Logistics for effective dispatch planning. About You
To be successful in this role, you will have experience in a supply chain, planning, procurement, customer service or manufacturing environment and be confident managing multiple priorities in a fast-moving operation.
