How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Working pattern: Hybrid – minimum three days per week in person
Travel: Occasional travel to Central London
Requirement: Full UK driving licence and access to a car

Are you confident, highly organised and naturally driven? Are you the kind of person who spots what needs doing—and makes it happen?

We are recruiting a Business Coordinator & Junior PA to work closely with a dynamic entrepreneur and Managing Director of a growing consultancy. This is a varied and influential role combining business coordination, operational support, reporting, systems administration and personal assistance.

You will act as the Managing Director’s eyes and ears across the business, helping to connect sales, marketing, project delivery and operations. You will need to be confident working with different personalities, comfortable holding people accountable and able to turn conversations into clear actions and results.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious coordinator or junior PA who wants greater responsibility and exposure to how a growing business operates.

    The role

    Your responsibilities will include:

Acting as a central point of coordination between the Managing Director and teams across sales, marketing, operations and project delivery
Monitoring priorities, actions and deadlines, following up with colleagues to ensure commitments are completed
Identifying and escalating potential risks, delays and operational issues
Supporting internal meetings, planning cycles and business reviews
Maintaining budgets, financial trackers and management spreadsheets
Producing reports covering sales pipelines, project progress, utilisation and other key business measures
Helping to establish clear processes, responsibilities and reporting routines
Supporting recruitment administration and wider business projects
Managing the company’s social budget and organising regular team events
Managing the Managing Director’s diary, meetings and appointments
Arranging travel, accommodation and other logistics
Providing occasional personal and household administration support
Travelling to Central London when required

    About you

We are looking for someone who is:

Driven, confident and proactive, with a strong personality and a positive approach
A natural organiser who takes ownership and follows tasks through to completion
Comfortable working directly with an entrepreneurial Managing Director in a busy, fast-changing environment
Confident dealing with people at all levels and able to be firm while remaining professional and respectful
Numerically capable and comfortable working with budgets, trackers and business data
Technically confident and able to learn CRM, project-management and reporting systems quickly
Process-driven, with the confidence to introduce improvements and encourage others to follow agreed ways of working
Analytical, commercially aware and able to identify potential problems
A clear and professional written and verbal communicator
Discreet and trustworthy when handling confidential business and personal information
Flexible and willing to support across a broad range of business activities

    Experience required

At least one year’s experience in a PA, team coordination, business support, project coordination or similar role
    Strong Microsoft Excel skills
Experience coordinating people, projects, deadlines or processes
Confidence using CRM systems or other business technology
Experience managing budgets, trackers or numerical information
A full UK driving licence and access to a car
The ability to work from Gerrards Cross for a minimum of three days per week and travel to Central London when required
Previous experience in a small, growing or entrepreneurial business would be particularly valuable.

    Package and benefits

Salary of £30,000–£35,000, depending on experience
    Annual profit-share scheme
25 days’ annual leave, increasing with service
    Your birthday off
