Protection Controller & ES Assistants – Plymouth Day Shifts

Location: Plymouth (PL4 6AB)
Duration: Monday 3rd August – Friday 7th August 2026
Shift Pattern: Days (08:00 – 16:30)
Pay: 10-hour shifts paid
Positions Available:

* 1 x Protection Controller (PC)

* 4 x ES Assistants (PCA)

PACE Infrastructure Solutions is currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Protection Controller and ES Assistants to support a rail infrastructure project in Plymouth.

Requirements

Successful candidates must hold:

* Valid PTS

* COSS competency

* Manual Handling

* Emergency First Aid

* Protection Controller applicants: Relevant PC competency

* ES Assistant applicants: Relevant ES Assistant competency

Additional Requirements

* COSS/PIC must be registered on Siemens OnTrac to receive Safe Work Packs (SWPs).

* Suitable tablet for use on shift.

* PodFlo account required.

* COSS-R competency required where applicable.

* Dates: 3rd – 7th August 2026

* Hours: 08:00 – 16:30

* Location: Plymouth

* Reporting Postcode: PL4 6AB

* Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday (Days)

* Paid: 10-hour shifts

Induction

A mandatory in-person induction will take place at the Siemens Site Office, Plymouth Station (date and time to be confirmed).
