As a trusted partner to senior stakeholders, you will translate business objectives into impactful people plans that support organisational growth, engagement and performance. You will play a key role in shaping culture, driving capability development and ensuring people strategies deliver measurable business results. Key responsibilities will include:
Partnering with leadership teams to develop and deliver strategic people plans.
Driving a high-performance, accountable and customer-focused culture across the business.
Coaching and influencing senior leaders on people-related matters and organisational effectiveness.
Leading employee engagement, culture and change-management initiatives.
Using workforce data and people analytics to support decision-making and identify business improvement opportunities.
Supporting talent acquisition, succession planning and leadership development activities.
Leading, developing and motivating a high-performing People team.
Managing complex employee relations matters and delivering commercially focused HR solutions.
Building strong relationships across operational and functional leadership teams throughout the organisation. What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced HR professional with a proven track record of partnering with senior stakeholders within a fast-paced, multi-site environment.You will also have:
Significant generalist HR and business partnering experience.
Strong commercial awareness and the ability to align people strategies with business priorities.
Experience leading cultural transformation, engagement and organisational development initiatives.
Excellent coaching, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice.
Experience using data and insights to drive people-related decisions and improvements.
Leadership experience with responsibility for developing and supporting HR teams.
Ideally, Chartered CIPD status or equivalent professional HR qualifications.
Experience within construction, engineering or similarly operational environments would be advantageous.What you'll get in return
