How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

If you enjoy building relationships, thrive in a busy environment and love balancing administration with customer-facing responsibilities, this could be the perfect role for you.

    Who are we?

Our client is a well-established organisation that is recognised nationally for the quality of its services and its commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience.

With a collaborative culture and genuine focus on employee development, you'll be joining a close-knit team where your contribution will be recognised and where you'll have the opportunity to develop your skills over the long term.

    Monday to Friday working pattern
Fully office-based role within a welcoming and supportive team.
Long-term career stability and development opportunities.
Collaborative working environment with excellent staff retention.
Opportunity to work within a highly respected organisation.
    Duties

Provide high-quality administrative support across a busy department.
Act as a first point of contact for internal and external enquiries, delivering an excellent customer experience.
Manage a varied workload, balancing multiple priorities and responding to changing demands.
    Prepare correspondence, documentation and reports.
Coordinate meetings, schedules and departmental activities.
Build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders across the wider organisation.
Maintain accurate records and ensure information is kept up to date.
Support the wider team with projects and operational activities as required.
Provide both face-to-face and online support to customers and colleagues.
What we would like from you

Previous administration experience within a fast-paced environment.
Experience delivering excellent customer service, both face-to-face and over the phone.
Someone who enjoys a varied role combining administration with customer interaction.
The ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously whilst adapting to changing priorities.
Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
Confident communication skills and a professional, approachable manner.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.
Experience within education, training or another complex professional services environment would be advantageous, but is not essential.
A positive, proactive attitude and the ability to work well as part of a close-knit team.
If you're looking for a role where you can genuinely make a difference, become part of a supportive team with exceptional staff retention and build a long-term career within a highly respected organisation, we'd love to hear from you.
