How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Recruitment Manager – Billing Role

Location: Milton Keynes – Midlands Hub
Salary: Highly competitive, dependent on experience
Benefits: Uncapped commission/bonus, incentives & company car or car allowance options
    Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

Interaction Recruitment is looking for an experienced recruitment professional to join our Midlands Hub as a Regional Manager, based from our Milton Keynes office.

The successful applicant will continue to manage client relationships, develop new business & make placements while also supporting the Managing Director with the internal management, recruitment & development of colleagues across the region.

This is not a purely operational or non-billing management position. You will lead from the front, maintaining your own successful recruitment activity while helping to strengthen the wider Midlands Hub.

Your responsibilities will be divided between developing your own recruitment business & supporting the Managing Director with internal people management and regional development.

    Recruitment & Revenue Generation

Manage a full 360-degree recruitment desk
Develop new business across Milton Keynes & the wider Midlands region
Build & maintain long-term relationships with clients
Identify temporary, permanent & contract recruitment opportunities
    Arrange & attend client meetings
Take detailed vacancy briefs & agree appropriate recruitment solutions
Source, interview & introduce suitable candidates
Manage interviews, offers, placements & ongoing client relationships
Work towards agreed revenue, margin & activity targets
Identify opportunities to cross-sell Interaction’s wider recruitment divisions
Maintain a strong understanding of the local employment market

    Internal Management & Development

Support the Managing Director with the day-to-day management of colleagues across the Midlands Hub
Assist with internal recruitment, including attracting, interviewing & selecting new consultants
Support the induction & onboarding of new colleagues
Coach, mentor & develop recruitment consultants
Help colleagues improve business development, candidate attraction & account-management performance
Conduct regular performance discussions & provide practical support where required
Identify training needs & contribute to internal development plans
Promote consistent standards, processes & ways of working
Encourage collaboration between offices, consultants & specialist divisions
Support the Managing Director with regional projects, meetings & internal communications
Help create a positive, accountable & commercially focused working environment

We are looking for an established recruitment professional who enjoys generating business but is also ready to take on greater responsibility for supporting & developing others.

    You should have:

    Strong experience within recruitment
A proven record of generating revenue through new business & client development
Experience managing a successful recruitment desk
The ability to build strong client & candidate relationships
Previous experience coaching, mentoring or managing colleagues
The confidence to support performance discussions & colleague development
Experience interviewing or recruiting internal staff
    Strong commercial awareness
    A practical, hands-on leadership style
Good organisation, communication & problem-solving skills
The ability to balance personal billing responsibilities with wider management duties
A full UK driving licence & access to a vehicle
Previous experience as a Recruitment Manager, Branch Manager, Divisional Manager, Senior Recruitment Consultant or Team Leader would be beneficial.

Interaction Recruitment is an established independent recruitment business offering the infrastructure of a national organisation alongside an entrepreneurial & flexible working culture.

Our managers are expected to remain close to their clients, candidates & colleagues. You will have the opportunity to continue developing your own recruitment business while playing an important part in the internal growth & development of the Midlands Hub.

    We offer:

A highly competitive salary, dependent on experience
    Uncapped commission or performance-related bonus
Company car or car allowance options, subject to package
    Monthly, quarterly & annual incentives
Established recruitment systems, databases & job-board access
Support from the Managing Director & experienced senior colleagues
The opportunity to influence internal recruitment & colleague development
Access to a national network of offices & specialist divisions
    Clear long-term career-development opportunities
