We are currently looking for an experienced Demolition Supervisor / Site Manager to join a live demolition project based in Hatfield, Hertfordshire.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management and supervision of the demolition works, ensuring the project is delivered safely, efficiently and in line with programme and client requirements.
This role will suit an experienced demolition professional who is confident managing subcontractors, site operatives and day-to-day site activities, with a strong focus on health & safety and maintaining high standards across the project.
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing and supervising daily demolition activities
* Managing and coordinating subcontractors on site
* Ensuring all works are carried out safely and in accordance with RAMS
* Maintaining strong health & safety standards across the project
* Conducting site inductions, toolbox talks and regular briefings
* Monitoring progress and ensuring works remain on programme
* Coordinating labour, plant and materials
* Liaising with the Project Manager and wider site team
* Monitoring subcontractor performance and quality of works
* Maintaining site records, paperwork and daily reports
* Identifying and resolving issues on site as they arise
* Ensuring the site is kept organised, safe and compliant at all times
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Demolition Supervisor, Site Manager or similar
* Strong background within the demolition industry
* Experience managing subcontractors and site teams
* Strong knowledge of demolition processes and site safety
* CCDO Gold or Black ideally
* Relevant health & safety qualifications
* Strong communication and leadership skills
* Ability to take ownership of site operations and work independently
* Available to start immediately
