How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Our Client, is a global industrial turnkey constructor specializing in the design, construction, and maintenance of innovative industrial plants across various sectors (Oil & Gas, nuclear, FMCG, pharma etc) are currently looking for a Project Quality Engineer experienced in the Nuclear sector .

    The Project Quality Engineer is responsible in assisting the Project Quality Manager in:

    Responsible to assist in developing, reviewing, and maintaining project processes for the successful implementation and completion of projects.
    Responsible for promoting a Right First-Time attitude and ensuring final quality of the delivery.
    Checks the installation / manufacturing activities are acceptable to the requirements including the required NDT and dimensional checks, and its associated records.
    Ability to work proactively to ensure quality topics are dealt with swiftly and to suggest improvements to eliminate repeating.
    Reports any quality topics to the PQM.
    Checks that the projects are implementing the correct procedures and follow the process including ITPs.
    Chases and discusses open actions with the action owners.
    Monitor the performance status of projects through relevant indicators - Safety First-On time-On spec-On Budget-Customer satisfaction, creating KPIs to assess quality performance across the projects.
    Understands and exceeds customer (internal or external) needs and expectations.
    Provides feedback to the Project team and leaders on concerns regarding Quality.
    Manages data related to KPI's and identify opportunities for improvement / Preparing performance reports for relevant stakeholders.
    Travel to suppliers and project sites to ensure quality and process capacities are met.
    Become familiar with company policies and train the team to follow guidelines.
    To carry out any other reasonable duties within the overall function of the role.

    Knowledge, Skills and Experience of Project Quality Engineer
     - BSc in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing or related Degree
     - Extensive experience in manufacturing or construction environment implementing quality programs
     - Track record of implementing Lean Manufacturing methodologies and continuous improvement
     - Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 19443 Standards
     - Knowledgeable of RCCM and any related requirements
     - Knowledgeable of Nuclear New Build Requirements

    Position is based at Bristol and will support the manufacturing site in Hinkley Point C, Broughton and customer site to ensure quality standards are set and exceeded
