£14–£15 per hour (DOE) | Afternoon Shift (Mon–Fri)
We are looking for an experienced CNC Setter Operator operate, and maintain CNC machines, producing precision components to quality and production targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate CNC milling, turning, or multi-axis machines
Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Select tooling, set offsets, speeds, and feeds
Carry out first-off and in-process quality checks
Maintain machine performance and report faults
Follow SOPs, control plans, and safety procedures
Support basic maintenance and continuous improvement
Skills & Experience:
Proven CNC setting/operating experience
Strong understanding of machining processes and tolerances
Confident using measuring equipment (e.g. verniers, micrometers)
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Desirable:
Engineering qualification or apprenticeship
CNC certifications
Working Hours:
Mon–Thurs: 2:00pm - 10:00pm
Fri: 12pm - 5pm
