📍 Long Eaton Permanent Full-Time Day Shift
We're recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join a global business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with warehouse experience who takes pride in accuracy, organisation and working as part of a close-knit team.
The Role
As a Warehouse Operative, you'll play a key role in ensuring goods are received, checked and stored accurately, helping to keep warehouse operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
* Receive and inspect incoming deliveries from suppliers.
* Check deliveries against purchase orders and delivery documentation.
* Inspect goods for damage, shortages or quality issues.
* Accurately record stock using the warehouse management system.
* Label, organise and store products in the correct warehouse locations.
* Report any discrepancies or damaged goods.
* Assist with stock control and inventory checks.
* Safely operate warehouse equipment, including pallet trucks and forklifts (training available where required).
* Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
* Liaise with drivers, suppliers and internal departments to ensure efficient goods movement.
* Follow company procedures relating to quality, health & safety and warehouse operations.

Experience & Skills
Essential
* Previous experience within a warehouse, stores or manufacturing environment.
* Good understanding of stock control and goods receiving processes.
* Basic IT skills.
* GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
Desirable
* Forklift Truck licence (training can be provided).
* Experience using a Warehouse Management System.
