How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a Resident Liaison Officer (RLO), community engagement or stakeholder management background who is looking to develop their career in project coordination. Full support and training will be provided on the planning and compliance aspects of the role.

    The Role

    * Manage and coordinate all Section 106 obligations throughout the project lifecycle.

    * Act as the main point of contact for local authorities, councils, colleges and community organisations.

    * Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.

    * Organise and attend community engagement events, meetings and workshops.

    * Coordinate employment, apprenticeship, education and social value commitments.

    * Monitor progress against S106 targets and maintain accurate records.

    * Produce reports and updates for the project and senior management team.

    * Work closely with site, commercial and project teams to ensure all commitments are delivered on time.

    * Respond professionally to stakeholder enquiries and resolve issues where required.

    Requirements

    * Previous experience as a Resident Liaison Officer (RLO), Community Liaison Officer, Social Value Coordinator or similar customer-facing construction role.

    * Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

    * Confident liaising with councils, educational providers and community groups.

    * Strong organisational and administrative skills.

    * Able to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities.

    * Proficient in Microsoft Office.

    * Construction industry experience is desirable but not essential.

    What's on Offer?

    * Permanent position with a leading main contractor.

    * Salary of £40,000–£50,000 plus package.

    * Full training on Section 106 obligations and compliance.

    * Excellent long-term career progression.

    * Opportunity to play a key role in delivering meaningful community and social value outcomes on major construction projects
