Accountant

We're working with an established not-for-profit organisation to recruit an Accountant. This is a broad role offering exposure across management and financial accounting, business partnering, fixed assets and year-end reporting. It's an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, supporting operational teams and working for an organisation that has a positive impact on the communities it serves.

Key responsibilities

Partner with operational teams, providing financial reports, analysis and constructive challenge to support decision-making
Support budget holders with budgeting, forecasting and financial monitoring
Assist with the year-end process, including audit preparation and statutory reporting
Maintain the fixed asset register, ensuring additions, disposals and depreciation are accurately recorded
Prepare VAT returns and support wider financial compliance activities
Produce balance sheet reconciliations and support the month-end close process
Contribute to continuous improvements in financial processes and controls
About you

CCAB qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
Experience preparing financial statements and supporting the year-end process
Previous business partnering experience with non-finance stakeholders
Strong reconciliation and financial reporting skills

Salary: £60,000 per annum
Full-time, permanent contract
Location: Central London
Hybrid working (3 days in the office per week)
