Are you a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children with additional needs?
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in Sale. This is a fantastic long-term opportunity for someone who is committed to making a real difference in the lives of children with complex learning needs.
The Role
Full-time Teaching Assistant within a specialist SEN school
Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with a range of additional needs
Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and personalised learning activities
Support pupils with their communication, social, emotional and personal development
Encourage independence while ensuring pupils feel safe, supported and included
About You
Previous experience working with children or young people with Autism (ASC), ADHD, and/or Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) is essential
A patient, caring and resilient approach
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to adapt to the individual needs of each pupil
A genuine passion for supporting children with special educational needs
