A Senior Mechanical Project Manager is required to deliver a major mission-critical infrastructure project for a specialist engineering business. This role will suit an experienced mechanical project professional with a background in data centres or full life cycle delivery of large-scale, complex projects.

The role offers the opportunity to work on a hyperscale data centre project, with responsibility for managing mechanical project delivery on-site. The successful candidate will be required to work on-site five days per week and can be considered on either a permanent or contract basis.

The Senior Mechanical Project Manager:

Manage mechanical project delivery throughout the full project life cycle
Oversee day-to-day mechanical project activities on-site
Coordinate project progress, ensuring works are delivered safely and effectively
Work with project stakeholders, contractors and internal teams to support successful delivery
Monitor project requirements, timelines and technical standards
Provide leadership and direction across mechanical project activities
Support the delivery of complex mission-critical infrastructure works
Senior Mechanical Project Manager:

Proven experience as a Senior Mechanical Project Manager, Mechanical Project Manager or similar mechanical project delivery role
Experience working on data centre projects or large-scale mission-critical projects
Strong understanding of mechanical project delivery from design through to completion
Experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders
Ability to work on-site five days per week in Iver
Strong project management, communication and leadership skillsCandidates with experience delivering full life cycle projects within other large-scale or mission-critical environments will also be considered.
