Counter Assistant – Takeaway
Mister C's Fish & Chips – Selby
We're looking for a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic Counter Assistant to join our busy takeaway team at Mister C's.
As the first point of contact for our customers, you'll play an important role in delivering the excellent service and high standards that have made Mister C's a favourite in Selby since 1981.
Duties will include:

Serving customers in a friendly and professional manner
*
Taking customer orders accurately
*
Handling cash and card payments
*
Preparing and packaging food orders
*
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
*
Replenishing stock and keeping the counter area tidy
*
Working closely with the kitchen team during busy periods
*
Promoting our app and loyalty scheme where appropriate
*
Delivering excellent customer service at all times
We're looking for someone who is:

Friendly, positive and approachable
*
Reliable and punctual
*
Able to work well as part of a team
*
Confident working in a busy environment
*
Willing to learn and take pride in their work
*
Well presented with excellent communication skills
Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided for the right candidate.
Applicants must be aged 18 or over.
