How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Supply Chain Planning Specialist

    Location: Northamptonshire (Hybrid)
    Salary: £39,750 - £43,250 + Excellent Benefits

    Are you an experienced Supply Chain, Production or Materials Planner looking for your next challenge within a global manufacturing business?

    We're working with a market-leading manufacturer to recruit a Supply Chain Planning Specialist who will play a key role in ensuring production plans, material availability and inventory levels are aligned to meet customer demand.

    This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative team where you'll have genuine ownership, work across multiple departments and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. The role also offers clear long-term progression for the right individual.

    The Role

    You'll be responsible for:

    * Developing and maintaining production plans to meet customer demand.

    *

    Managing Material Requirements Planning (MRP)

    * Monitoring inventory levels and identifying supply risks.

    * Working closely with Procurement, Operations and Manufacturing teams.

    * Analysing planning and inventory data to support business decisions.

    * Driving process improvements, reducing waste and improving planning efficiency.

    * Producing planning reports and KPI information.

    About You

    We're keen to speak with candidates who have experience in:

    * Production Planning

    * Supply Planning

    * Materials Planning

    * Manufacturing Planning

    * MRP / ERP systems

    * Inventory management

    * FMCG or Manufacturing environments

    You'll also have:

    * Excellent organisational and planning skills.

    * Strong analytical ability with good Excel skills.

    * The ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment.

    * A proactive and collaborative approach.
