THE ROLE
Due to an upturn in work we have immediate requirements for a team of Warehouse Operatives/Cage Handlers to join our client. If you like being active in a job role and have independence to get on with the job at hand, this is the role for you! Duties and tasks will include:
You must be available to work a 5am start and be flexible to work all other shifts
You will be working in a cold room food storage environment
You will be loading/unloading cages of various food products from wagons
Follow company processes and procedures at all times keeping in line with current Health & Safety policies
Assist with maintenance of all warehouse areas and report damage/accidents
Carry out any other reasonable task requested by your warehouse manager or team leader in their absence
THE PERSON
A good attitude and high level of stamina is key for this role as well as the following specifications:
You must be available to work a 5am start and be flexible to work all other shifts
You need a flexible approach with the willingness to commence work at short notice as business demand often changes
This is a highly manual dexterous role and you will demonstrate these skills
You will have a proactive and hardworking attitude as you will hit the ground running
You can demonstrate good listening skills and be able to follow instructions
It would be advantageous if you have your own transport or live in the local area
You will need to be physically fit to do this role
